Simple Porridge Recipe
On a cold and frosty morning, you need this simple porridge recipe in your life. There’s nothing better than a good, hearty porridge on a freezing cold day and besides the taste, it’s cheap and nutritious too if you jazz it up a little!
For this recipe I use gluten free oats when I cook it, but you can just use normal rolled oats. There isn’t really much difference in terms of taste or texture.

Instructions
- In a pan over a medium heat, add the oats, water and milk. Cook for around 5 minutes and add more water if necessary. When cooked, the oats will become 'mushy' and soft. They don't take long to cook so once the pan is up to heat, just keep stirring.
- Take the pan off the heat and stir in the greek yoghurt.
- Serve with chia seeds, honey, coconut flakes and a little lime rind.
