Cauliflower Salad
This Cauliflower Salad recipe is great using either raw cauliflower or fermented cauliflower. Did you know? Just 100g of cauliflower contains 80% of your vitamin C allowance… so this recipe per serving contains 120%! Perfect for winter when those nasty colds are bobbing about. This recipe is great either on it’s own, with a few salad leaves or with some brown rice.
The cost is only 80p per serving too! What a bargain!

Ingredients
- 300 g raw or fermented cauliflower
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- pepper and chilli to serve

Instructions
- Thinly slice your raw or fermented cauliflower.
- In a frying pan over a medium heat, heat your sesame oil and sesame seeds to toast. Add your turmeric and stir until all seeds and turmeric are covered in oil.
- Toss in your cauliflower. If the cauliflower is fermented, just cook until warmed through. If the cauliflower is raw, cook for 10 minutes or so until soft.
- Serve with a pinch of chilli and pepper. You can either eat alone, or add to some salad leaves or brown rice.
